Ikea Lack Side Table

When me and my mate first moved into our flat share we had not a lot of money at all. I had moved from my family home so had nothing in the way of furniture at all and she did have stuff but was moving out her old place and into a caravan before the flat and had not alot either.

We had so much to buy and shopped in places like Wilkinson's, Argos and Ikea. One of things she bought and that she now has in her own flat since we parted company and now have our own places is the red Lack table which cost her £4.99 at the reduced to half price from the usually £9.99 price tag it carried at the time and it was a bright red colour and they do come in a variety of colours and wood finishes.

I went back to Ikea when I moved into my own place as I was so pleased with the table she bought and the quality of it and we'd had it in our flat over 2 years and so I was really happy, when I spotted the black and white options of this table reduced and on offer for a limited time only to £1.74 a table so I got two in white including the larger Lack white coffee table and these, the same as the red option cost £9.99 usually!

The Table Itself:

Comes wrapped in plastic and you basically get told what it is and instructions for assembly are included. I was worried about how to put these up as I'm no diyer believe me however you get 4 sturdy and wide oblong legs that basically twist via screws already in the top of the table till they are secure. No tools are needed as well as no instructions its just so simple to do!

This gives a table that measures a length: 55 cm, a width of 55 cm and a height of 45 cm. For anyone like me that isn't good at working out measurements that gives us a rather large table really and its square in shape. My white (and the red option) are shiny, wipe clean and we're not told what they are made of. They are sturdy and with sleek, modern lines and other furniture to match up with these is also available from Ikea.
