Review summary
These scented tealights from Ikea are cheap and have a very subtle fragrance. However, they won't scent a whole room so you may want to opt for stronger-scented tealights!
Tindra tealights
As well as stocking up on Ikea's pack of standard tealights whenever I brave going into the store, I often can't resist grabbing a pack of scented tealights too.
Coming in at £1.69 for a pack of 36, these tealights cost just under 5p each and come in a range of scents, including Tropical Fruit and Apple. I opted for the vanilla scented pack. They are also complemented by the larger Tindra candles that come in glass jars, as well as larger pillar candles - all scented and all at reasonable prices!
These are standard size tealights and according to Ikea have a burning time of 3.5 hours each.

Three colours
Each set of tealights has three different shades in the pack and in the vanilla pack that I purchased these are basically three varying shades of cream. The tealights come shrink-wrapped in plastic so as soon as I get home I unwrap them and place them in a basket I have in my living room to keep my candles in, as this isn't packaging you could possibly store your candles in after opening.
Despite the three different shades of tealight, I am pretty sure these all smell the same. To me it is a very subtle vanilla fragrance - it's neither too strong or too sickly - instead it's a really subtle scent and while you can smell this well when you first open the whole pack if you pick up a tealight on its own to have a sniff it really isn't that strong at all.

Light 'em up
I tend to light quite a lot of tealights at once - I have five coloured glass jars along my mantlepiece that I generally light together. And I do find that if I light multiple tealights at once that these do fill the room with a very faint scent. This is definitely not as strong with other scented tealights I've used - however it is quite a nice warm fragrance that although subtle is pleasant. I would also say that the burning time isn;t far wrong - although 3.5 hours is definitely the absolute maximum you would get out of one of these!

Worth the extra pennies?
In all honesty I should probably stick with the cheaper, unscented tealights as these aren't really all that different other than having a bit of colour and a very subtle fragrance. But I guess I quite like the subtle fragrance and probably won't be able to resist buying them again from time to time. However, there are stronger scented tealights out there if you are really after something with a stronger fragrance.
