    Advantages Advantages Price,hardwearing.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Time consuming to lay.

I purchased Ikea's Tundra laminate flooring because it had a 15year guarantee, was cheaper than B&Q's, and I must say I am pretty impressed by it. It was easy to lay, although a bit time consuming, and also easy to cut with the use of a jigsaw, in fact the only drawback I found was moving all my furniture and trying to stay off it for twelve hours after it had been laid. Advantages Advantages Easy to maintain

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not suitable for Bathrooms

I have had my Tundra Laminate Floor from Ikea for 2 years now and I have to say that it is the best decision I ever made. It's easy to keep clean and maintain and still looks as good as it did when originally fitted. Tundra flooring has a 15 year guarantee and is very hard wearing. I have two kids and two dogs, I have no stains as I did with my previous scotchguard carpet. Spills are easy to clean up and marks are none existant! I would certainly recommend Ikea Tundra to anyone considering it. Before I checked the prices at Ikea I had a quotation from Courts who wanted to charge me in excess ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Having to do the rest of the house before christmas!!!

Well , In these days when , it seems , everyone is selling laminate flooring because an awful lot of people want to install it - it is becoming increasingly difficult to decide where to buy. (As you may have already read - B&Q was a complete disaster for us) We shopped around (as we were on a budget of around two hundred pounds for a 30ft by ten foot room.) We ended up at Ikea (Wednesbury) and asked for samples of the Tundra range of flooring - Now we are talking quality stuff here - not your cheap chipboard stuff - solid MDF with a truly hard finish - ideal for these "heavy domestic" uses i ... more
