If you look at many street photographers portfolios and examine their tools, the vast majority will list Ilforddelta 400 as one of their film choices. This is a great fast film which behaves very well in both low light and bright conditions.
This is a black and white film and is great if you develop your own film. Its also a good film to send to the processors but beware it will be more expensive than the normal colour film process as this cant simply be thrown through a machine.
I developed my own film in the darkroom using delta 400, it is a pretty fast film to develop, and using Ilfasol (ilfords developers) I got some great results. I compared them to pictures I had taken with my Film SLR and the black and white film was much more forgiving, I retained more detail in the dark and bright areas than I did with my digital image ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Ilford Delta 400
Advantages: Fantastic quality Disadvantages: Can get expensive
Ilford continue their range of high-quality 'professional' black and white films with their range of Delta100 film. I have used Delta100 for many high-quality images, and it is an absolutely brilliant film - it serves purposes like landscapes and portraiture with a distinct style and grace. It is a flexible film in that way - it can be pushed and pulled, and it develops well in T-Max developer (1+4), taking around seven minutes to develop at an exposure of 100.
I am almost tempted to make Delta100 part of my usual repertoire - I have only used a moderate amount of it, in both 135 and 120 formats, and the results have, for the most part, been good. It is another solid product from Ilford, and I'd reccomend it strongly - it picks up the level of detail I require perfectly, and it's response to light is better than expected for film ...
Advantages: Gr8 scenarios, FULL head protection and body armour! Disadvantages: 20+ of their sites in the UK - wish there were 10 times as many.
helmet too. I usually hate being shot in the head - coze it hurts like **** - now I don't care! The other thing was the FULL BODY ARMOUR! I had seen something like this before. But their kit was incredible - light, comfortable, and 100% effective. My mate's girlfriend (who only came along to keep him company coz they are in luv (aaahh) even joined in after the first game once she saw we weren't getting bruised).
The staff were very friendly and efficient too. Balls were 5p in bulk - which is as low as anywhere I have come accross.
I read another review on Delta Force which said it wasn't as good as the 'bigger' operator called 'Skirmish'. Hmmmmm .... I have played at Skirmish Lasham and it was OK, but it was small and a bit run-down when compared with Delta Force - and the game zones were not a patch on those at DF. Plus ...
