Value For Money: You many think it's expensive, but you know what they say! You get what you pay for! And you certainly get excellent coffee for that £5 note and 45p change! Also, you get more in quantity. Most packages of espresso ground coffee are 227g, but in this it's 250g. Which is approximately 3 more shots of espresso. SO it's approximately 35 shots of espresso for the money. But think of it like this. In starbucks, an espresso shot is £1.40. Times that by 35, and see the total. The total is actually £49. WOuld you rather pay les than a tenth of that for the same thing? Thought so! So yes, i think the value is great! But i have to minus one because lavazza you get 250g for £2.36. 4/5!
Product Quality: I think all the customers would easilly agree with me, it's easilly the best espresso ground coffee available in england, or anywhere infact! You get a delicious crema layer, the taste is full, and not bitter, it's just great. It tastes lovely, the drink itself is more full and rich than it is bitter, and thats the way you want it. Excellent. 5/5.
Product package: A steel tin, which the coffee is vaccum packed for freshness, and you can re-use the tin for whatever you wish. Stickers stick to it so you can label it, very clever packaging, 5/5.
Taste: As the quality says, it tastes divine. Not bitter, but rich in flavour, and the authentic taste a coffee lover wants! 5/5
Loyalty: I am VERY loyal to the brand since i know their products are not cheaply packaged, and i know i get the satisfaction i pay for. Take that, Costa Coffee! 5/5
Do i reccomend? I most certainly do! For the best result, in the filter, tamp (Push) it down with pressure, use a shot glass to press it down. This increases the crema layer, and then all the coffee is used. It isn't wasteful, and you get the coffee you deserve. Plus, it only taks approx. 10 seconds to tamp down! Clever! Also, put it straight into the cup, skip the jug! Want it to last longer, store it in the freezer in an airtight containter, and it will stay fresh for about 4 weeks. But illy espresso's chance of coffee lasting that long unused it so slim...
Conclusion: Do i really need to conclude? You can guess by my hapiness that it's a five star product, it tastes simply divine, you get more than most packages, the packaging is very smart, and well, it tastes awesome! No more coffee shops for that must have fix, huh? Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

Advantages: Very high quality product Disadvantages: The price
...value for money.
The Illy coffee, on the contrary, is a very good quality coffee, probably the best Italian coffee, but it has a high price (the right value for money), and this is the only reason because it is less sold, in comparison witth other brands.
THE PRODUCT
Made with a 100% Arabic blend (this is the first guarantee of quality), and it contains less than the 1,5% of coffeine. The coffee has a strong but very pleasant taste, with a basic ... ...other thing that makes Illy something different among the coffee Italian brands in its overall is the manifacture. The toasted coffee, before becoming drinkable, must be refreshed, and the Illy does not submerge it in the water (the common proceeding) to refresh it, but ' wash' the coffee with a specific proceeding, so the first part of the blend, that is stronger and of minor quality, wanishes. This particular and very expensive way to manufacture ...

Advantages: Makes the perfect coffee and great packaging Disadvantages: Bit more expensive
...we decided to buy the Illy only on the basis that it came in a rather attractive silver storage tin which I thought would look nice on the kitchen shelf (god, how girly is that ?!?) and not based on any prior knowledge of the brand.
The good thing about espresso machines is that you can make latte and cappucino with them too - however, we weren't sure what this particular coffee would taste like in any of these forms and set to making the 'perfect ... ...they know their stuff.
Illy is the best coffee I have ever tasted. In the past, buying a perfect latte with the right amount of frothy milk and foam, yet retaining the coffee taste and temperature meant a rather expensive trip to Starbucks (which also had to be accpmpanied by their gorgeous ginger snaps for dunking !). Now things are different - this coffee is the perfect compromise between strong and mild - it is smooth, easy drinking and doesn't ...

...If you read the garb, Illy is not a blend, the bad or poorly roasted bits are sifted out, and you simply have one of the finest coffees available through selection. A fine cognac compared to cheap brandy.
It is never disappointing, and is smoother, sweeter and richer than any other coffee I have tasted. BUT this is an espresso coffee. You don't put this in filters, cafetieres, or drip drip plonk machines. A stove top espresso will give a great result, ... ...can happen with Illy is that the way you make or take coffee means that you struggle to notice a difference, other than in your pocket. I guarantee that it will make you a good coffee, and if you do it right, the best coffee you've ever tasted.

Advantages: excellent quality, brand recognition Disadvantages: expensive, arrogant company
...much debate on the subject: illy espresso is universally recognized as an impeccable tasting coffee. It can be likened to the Briony suit--beautifully made, consistently top-notch, and extremely expensive.
The secret is in the "bean washing" process, which the company claims is the justification for the cost (about double the average grocery store brand).
Brand Recognition: Not for nothing has illy built their reputation. When you see the signature ... ...Unlike beer and liquor companies, illy gives nothing away. When we set up our espresso machine and signage, we PURCHASED a case of 12 illy cappccino cups for $90 CAD (about 40 pounds), a case of 12 saucers (sold separately!), and some very expensive take-out cups with lids. All of these are free advertising for illy, and we paid through the nose for them because as the company so smugly knows, their branding is worth it.
As we were setting up our ...

...each time. And even though ILLY is one of the most expensive coffees think about how much you paid for your last Espresso, Americano, or Machiato.
