...I bought this for our office server which before-hand was running a DDS5 tape drive. I have to say the DDS5 backup system we had was excellent and never caused me any problems. We got to a point where we needed two tapes to do a backup, and considering we keep backups for up to a month, thats a hell of a lot more tapes we would have to buy. After a lot of research and learning about DLT and SDLT, we discovered the V160. DLT allows backups to 40GB (80GB Compressed) and SDLT is alot more (i forget the figures). DLT would not have been enough and SDLT is a hell of a lot more expensive. Quantums V160 is right in the middle of the two and each tape can store up to 160GB data if compressed. We managed to get the drive for around £700 and then bought a number of tapes. It was delivered direct from Quantum within a week. The one... Read review

Advantages: Their cheapness

...I wanted a pack of cdr's that would burn easily enough without having to dump a load of them in the process. I actually stumbled on these quite by accident, after my usual TDK brand was out of stock. I thought I would give them a try, and I am glad I did, because they burn at a reasonable speed, and have caused me no problems with either the recording of, or the retrieval of data so far, and I have used a few 50 packs now. In fact I can't recall having to throw any away that wasn't my own mistake. Imation are very realistic price at around £15 for a spindle pack of 50, or 100 for £30. As there is no saving on the 100 pack, I generally buy 50 at a time. The pack they come in, is excellent for their storage too, with a spindle to keep them on and a nice twist, clear lid that keeps the discs dust and grime free until you need them... Read review

...to use the touch screen when dialing numbers but better to use the keyboard when sending text messages.Overall a great experience when using the phone features and texting. 9/10 Camera- This is an adequate feature but will not give the highest quality pictures that you will find from a stand-alone camera.with the large TFT screen using this feature is easy and you can vary light setting to help get the best results,but you will be able to tell these are pictures from a phone but still a nice feature to have. 7/10 Memory- THe imate takes the mini sd card format and you can use cards which can have up to 4gb of memory which will allow you to save a massive amount of pictures and music to your device.The imate doesnt come with a memory card so you will definently need to purchase one to maximise the features of this product. 9...
