I was starting to thinkI needed a new hairdryer when I stayed with my sister and borrowed hers and it dried my hair in half the time, despite the diffuser being held on with cellotape. She borrowed mine over christmas and told me it was like being breathed on my a kitten, for all the drying power it had. I looked at a variety of sources for my new hairdryer, and was initially put off Nutri-heat becuase of the capsules you have to buy- seemed like a bit of a scam and I'm still not convinced it isnt. But my mum was asking what I wanted for christmas, and I had read some good reviews, so I thought if she's paying for it then Ill risk it. The hairdryer comes with two different diffusers- one regular one and the other with a space to put in the capsule that it supposed to make you hair shiny, soft, and generally better. It also comes with a short list of different hair types and how you should use the diffuser ends in regards to your haid style. Which might be useful but unfortunately shapeless mess wasnt given as a style so it didnt help me much, except to imply that you didnt need to use the capsule diffuser every time you wash your hair, and that each capsule lasts for around 20-30mins of continuous hairdrying. It doesnt however, tell you whether you can re-use capsules, but it does give you tweezers to put them in, although it doenst tell you not to touch them with your hands.
When I used the capsule diffuser for the first time I was a little dissappointed. It certainly dried my hair faster than my old hairdryer- but possible not as fast as some more powerful ones. And my hair did feel softer, but wasn't instantly glamourous. I have used the hair dryer many times since then and I am quite pleased with it. I generally use the different doiffusers alternately- the capsules do make my hair softer and shinier, more managible with more volume, but its not a total miracle. And without you can use the hot shot button which dries your hair faster You get a pack of capsules with the hair dryer and santa bought me another pack as well- as it doesnt say whether you can re-use them iots hard to know how long they should last- but i think i have used 2 or 3 in over 4 weeks.
