I absolutely hate shaving my bikini line, I find it a chore and the re-growth irritates the hell out of me! So as always this product was on special offer in boots (I must buy some shares in boots! I reckon I’m the one who keeps them going! ) and I decided to give them a try. The first time was totally unsuccessful, I had warmed them up too much in my hands, which made them sticky, and all I achieved was a red sticky area – nice! So I gave it a couple of days and decided to try my pain threshold again. The product states that if you find the strips sticky you should put them in the fridge first, so I did and I tried again, this time I achieved smooth hair free non-red skin!
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Immac mini wax strips for the face and bikini line are about 10cms long and are just designed for that area. There is no making up of products or cooking them in the microwave all you have to do is gently warm them up in your hands for a couple of seconds and then apply, smooth down, rip off and finally scream!!!!
This product is made up of natural wax, calendula oil, and some plant extracts and the after wipes include, c11-12 isoparaffin, lauryl alcohol and mentha piperita (?)
The pack contains 20 single sided strips, which are by the way reusable, and 4 softening after wipes.
DO THEY WORK?
I must say that they after to getting used to using these strips I do find them easy to use and very effective and I remain hair free for about 4 weeks which is a bonus!
