Avery Dennison have been producing top quality paper products for a long time, and whilst their self adhesive range of products are second to none, they made the mistake of heading to take over the market for computer products, such as pre-cut card for Birthday cards, businesscards, cd covers, etc., and in many ways have failed the consumer.
The reason that I say this is that I, like many consumers, read on the outside of one of their packets, and liked the idea that I could produce good quality businesscards myself. On the outside of the packet it says that I can download a program free from their site which will take me through the process of producing these cards, and I was filled with enthusiasm.

20 are showered with praise and rewards and the bottom should be removed. Those in the middle 70 need to improve themselves and make it in the top 20. This is a system that motivates all employees to do better and improves the workforce as a whole.
Welches opinion on candor was also an eye opener for me. Welch belives strongly that candor is needed to be a successful company and that everybody should say what they think. I found this approach very refreshing and was interested to read how it was implemented and how it became successful.
I would recommend this book to anybody with aspiriations of making it to the top, especially students, as i feel it gives a real insight into what business in the real world is and not just what is in textbooks. This is a totally honest and informative text and i learnt so much from it. ...

Review of The Business, a hardback novel by Martina Cole
The Business is Martina Cole's latest offering in a long line of best selling novels set against a backdrop of London's criminal underworld. For those unfamiliar with Ms Cole's books, she writes of subjects unsavoury, seedy and at times, uncomfortable.
