Impulse Into Glamour

Im going to try and get all of my Impulse fragrance reviews done over the next few days because they are bugging me just sitting there in my "Things To Review" list, sad right LOL. Anyway this Into Glamour scent is one of the five different sprays ny mom bought me the other day and judging by the fact that Id never seen this before I thought this was probably a new product. And a little research into that confirmed it and this is one of the new Impulse fragrances that they have bought out recently to coincide with this new, more grown-up image that they have decided to portray of late. Ive found that the Impulse scents I smelt so far have been very varied and Ive not found one that I absolutely love so I went into using this hoping that this would be the one to change my mind about this whole brand.

The image attached to this review is exactly what this product looks like as this is a new one the design hasnt changed at all. It is a deep midnight blue colour with little sparkly gems and diamonds all over the front. I really like this design and I reckon its probably the best Ive seen yet because it really does go with the glamourous image they are trying to put accross. This has definately got to be the nicest Impulse design Ive seen as yet and its a great addition to nay girls handbag. Also the spray top of this is a little bit different rather than just pushing it down to release the scent there is a twist top which I if anything prefer because it means all the spray wont start to come out in your handbag.

On the back of the Impulse can they describe this scent as: a blend of exotic oriental scents and citrus notes. But hang on a sec. That is exactly the same description that is on the front of the Goddess can that I reviewed yesterday. So these scents are both the same? I said yesterday never trust Impulse description of their scents because the often smell nothing like what you expect and this one is no different. Also I dont think this smells anything like the Goddess fragrance even though the maker says the are the exact same scent.

Before I even start describing the smell I will say that a little of this spray goes a very long way and if you spray to much it is very overwhelming and way to strong, so dont spray a load of it. You dont need to! Rather than smelling of citrus or anything along those lines this actually smells really sweet and fruity, like berries or somethingso yet again their description was totally wrong in my opinion. The scent of this kind of reminds me of those Dolly Mixture sweets I used to eat when I was a kid and because it is so sweet and fruity Im betting that a lot of people wont like it in the slightest. When it starts to die down you are left with a really subtle, fruity scent that reminds me a lot of vanilla so I wouldnt be surprised if thats one of the main ingredients but even though the smell is very sweet and quite strong at first when it starts to die down it is lovely.

As this is meant to be a glamourous fragrance I was expecting it to be a little heavier and musky as I thought it would be more suited to night time wear when you want to feel a bit classier and glam but its actually the total opposite. I will definately say that because of the fruitiness this is more a spray for daytime wear because I know I need something a bit muskier for the night. This scent is a sweet, summery fragrance and one that I definately recommend. But for daytime wear only.

It also lasts a very long time on your clothes and skin so theres no need to keep re-applying all the time. The scent will just give off little bursts of fragrance throughout the day. I do recommend this and I reckon Ill be stocking up on a few more cans when this one runs out, I recommend you give it a whiff! If you dont like sweet scents though stay away because this is by no means for everyone!
