I put it in this section of the impulse side as they have yet to add the new fragrance so people can talk about that, so ive asked and for now it will be here.........

As or if you didn't know i did an op about Lynx and we women love it and some of us which i found out wear it ourselves or have it near by to remind us about our men, memories and life, But really men cant do it for ours well cant get away doing it with our product impulse. Just shows that us girls can get away with wearing anything!!!!!

“ Another man has gone...Another man has gone, another man has gone, another man has gone.........I didn't know his name.....I didn't know his name, I didn't know his name, i didn't know his name “

Siren: Device that makes a loud prolonged sound as a signal, A dangerously fascinating woman

THE AD
The ad starts off with the song (above) at an empty town hardly anyone about then shoots to a Diner where a man is sitting down whilst women are looking at him, as the waitress walks off to tart herself up she comes back to see that he is gone, you then see him walking through the woods where he then approaches a woman who is standing at the edge of a cliff whist putting her body spray in her bag. New name comes up Siren by impulse

Well if you don't know what siren means and still saw the commercial you can understand what its trying to prove. Obviously if you do, think mermaids (no not the little mermaid the old mermaids that brought death to many seamen by singing songs whilst sitting on the ocean rocks), then you’ll get it as soon as the name siren comes up. If you don't then the fact “all the man have gone” and then you only see this perticular girl after “it seems” she has just sprayed the stuff then you’ll know, also the fact she is standing by a cliff and there are no other men (does she not like men or something!!!!)

THE MAKERS
The company are the same makers of the men's deodorant Lynx (Lever Faberge), it is basically the female version and the same like Lynx have had many fragrances throughout the years and in March 2001 it expanded its ranges by making antiperspirant sprays and roll-on as well as body wipes and new moisturising body spray
(don't quote me on all as i may have missed some)
VANILLA KISSES
FRESCO
O2
ICO
SOLAR
ZEN
ID
FREE SPIRIT
TEMPTATION and now SIREN
Impulse has a 50% share of the market and is UK’s leading female body spray brand

TARGET AUDIENCE
Again like Lynx there main target audience is from around the way they see it 18 and upwards. Although likely a younger audience will buy the fragrance its commercials and ad’s are mainly targeted at the older audience, if you remember the controversial impulse advert where for the first time it depicted on a commercial a gay couple.

WHY I BOUGHT IT
Every time I see this ad straight away I start singing the song in the southern Mississippi accent
I was in tesco’s and saw that there was a 75ml multipack only this fragrance was in the multipack so i got two for £2.79, normally new fragrances price around £1.99 then its price drops as its on the market for a certain amount of time. I didn't actually smell it when i picked it up as i was in a rush (yet can see the bargains)

CAN
Like Lynx they all have there own separate distinctions on each one so you can separate which one is which.
The Siren can is the blue Turquoise colour (maybe or obviously) representing the colour of the ocean, hence mermaids, hence sirens (do i have to explain that again) They have used in the front of the can a ripple puddle effect (which might i add if you have an apple mac with illustrator on it you can do that effect quite easily), Colours of white, purple, green, turquoise separate the ripples...quite pretty actually.
It has the traditional black font of the name Impulse with a small butterfly above the ‘s’ at the bottom also in black is ‘siren’ and ‘body spray’

SPRAYING
Again like Lynx they have designed a new ‘spraying technique’ difference is to the lynx can instead its decided to be lazy and not put a lid on it (could be because we always loose the caps and end up standing on it with no shoes on) ANYWAY now they have designed a lid which you twist and then spray, quite a good idea the fact you wont be stepping on the lids anymore. The directions are on the back of the can (for us slow ones)

BACK OF CAN
In three languages English, Dutch and German. Its directions of spraying a distance of 15 cm from your body, keep in a cool dry place away from the sun, fire, naked flame. The stuff your mum should of taught you, keep out of reach from children.
Also on the back of the can proving it is trying to reach a target audience it says do not smoke after just spraying (Now I know that market research think that people over 16 are the only ones that smoke, same as when you have your first smear test they seem to think you lost your virginity at seventeen hence why you will or did get a letter when you turned 20)
Also the Ingredients
ALCOHOL DENAT,
BUTANE,
ISBUTANE,
PROPANE (huh!?),
PARFUM,
ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE.

THE SMELL
Every arousal always make you splutter and start choking if you have sprayed to much or well.... in the general direction of your face, and this is not an exception when your doing it with this one(doing it now)...now hang on...... (Twist and................spray).......I can class it as a summery fragrance and can smell a hint of citrus init it smells a tad more perfume like some of the others, i think coz now i said citrus that's all i can smell. Its nice though and i can see myself using it throughout the summer hence i already have two bottles of it so im already prepared and waiting!!!!

OVERALL
Again Impulse have succeeded and brought out a great new fragrance for the summer the pitch of it selling is great and the smell you gals will love as it brings the summer is here feeling, it also lasts a long time and when you go for your next shower the smell of the bodyspray lingers up to your nose to remind you youve been wearing it for a while (you know when you cant smell your perfume after a while even though its still there), if you feel kinda smell it does refresh you feeling that noone can smell that you actually stink. i recommend it and if you have listened to me in the past you know im right (HEY IM ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!!LOL)

Thanks for reading
