Advantages Quick dying, soft, brith to potty
Disadvantages slightly more expensive, can only be used with shaped wraps.
I bought these nappies as an extra to my other shaped nappies which are made of bamboo and therefore take some time to dry. However, I regularly reach for these even when I have the bamboo ones clean and dry.
As they are a one size nappy they are easy to adjust as babe gets bigger, and the elasticated legs keep any leakage in. They can be a little bit fiddly as baby starts wiggling as you need to hold the nappy in place as you are fixing the outer wrap but once fixed, they offer one of the sleekest fits as reusable nappies go, which can be somewhat bulky.
As there is no fixing on the nappy, rather being held in place by the wrap, they can only be used with shaped wraps, and due to the difficulties with wriggling babies, I would advise velcro fixed wraps to make life easier
They have an inner flap which can be folded to provide extra absorption dependent on whether they are being used for a boy or a girl.
As an added bonus, as they are flannel, they are very soft against baby's bottom and I have had no sign of nappy rash.
From looking on auction websites, it also looks as though they will hold their value well once finished with.
All in all, a good nappy, although slightly more expensive, probably due to the organic cotton.
