Advantages: Organic terry is lovely and snuggly :) You can use more than one at a time to boost absorbancy Disadvantages: Need a tight fitting wrap to hold in place, fannel won't nippa and the organic terry isn't snag-proof

ImseVimse is a Swedish made nappy. It is a shaped nappy, and I received one to try to see how I got on. I found the flannelette version I recieved to be very slim fitting, and as there is no Velcro or Aplix on it, it was either pin it or fold it up inside a snug fitting wrap as a nippa (a new gadget you use instead of pins) won't grip smooth fabric. I don't use pins, so I found a Prorap brand wrap works especially well with this nappy as the legs and back are gusseted, containing any leaks that may escape this nappy.
The flannette version of this nappy is not overly absorbent. I found to prevent having to wring it out after a wee, I had to place a terry booster inside. Also, there is no wetness protection to it, so an additional fleece liner was required to keep my son's skin dry after a wee. Even with the booster and liner in, it ...
