trade-off between color fidelity and performance. This projector series combines a 5 segment color wheel with 2500 lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio.Advanced connectivity options include multiple computer and audio inputs and a wireless-ready port for easy upgrades to InFocus LiteShow II; making it easy to switch between presenters. An RS-232 port enables integration with meeting room control systems. The IN2100 series is built to last with DLP technology promising lower cost of ownership, longer life and improved reliability than other technologies such as LCD.These projectors are dust-free, having eliminated fan filters and lamp screen maintenance the IN2100 series is rated for 24 x 7 operation. The lamp lasts up to 3000 hours and when necessary can be quickly changed without removing an installed projector from the ceiling, saving time and maintenance expense.
The Work Big IN2102 contains an outstanding feature-set and strong performance with SVGA-native resolution of 800x600. This model is ideal for users who typically connect to older computer sources, DVD players, Standard-definition video cameras or other tape-based video content which fall within the SVGA pixel range.
Advantages: Cheap for the level of resolution Disadvantages: Poor customer and aftersales - not a home cinema projector
...The Infocus IN26XGA looked a good spec for the money. First disappointment was the input sockets. The information provided implied the projector had video ‘component’ connections but the RGB connection is only via the RS 232 (VESA) port, which can be done via an adaptor/accessory but this is not provided. Also you have to have a ‘component’ connection to achieve the higher levels of resolution the projector has, otherwise it is pointless paying for the extra picture resolution.
There was no manual provided and information on the CD provided was scant. This may not have been a problem but the projector only produced very small scale pictures and it was not clear if this was by design or because the zoom was not working. The InFocus web site was also of no help and just added to the disappointment, particularly as it was not clear how...

Advantages: Cheap, scans come out pretty well too Disadvantages: Not compatible with Windows 2000
...but sometimes the scans don't always appear to be 'quite' in-focus. A quick 'sharpen' though in the paint package and all is well.
My only gripe with this scanner is that it doesn't work in Windows 2000. The AGFA website simply states that the parallel version is not supported and I should get the SCSI version or the USB version. That's not my idea of customer service. It's obviously been a very popular model and I would have expected it to have been supported for more than a token number of years.
I can't recommend this product to future buyers since more people will be moving to Windows 2000 by the time I write this. It would also be fairly hard to find this scanner now in the shops since it's getting on a bit anyway. It's done me OK till now but now I can't even use it....

Advantages: Reliable, good picture quality, easy to use Disadvantages: Starting to show its age!
...The Infocus Lite Pro 425 is a LCD projector designed to display computer images onto a screen or wall. Its compact size shows that it has been built with portability in mind.
This projector was purchased about 3 years ago by the company I work for. The projector cost about £1400 and at the time and it was a pretty high specification machine.
The projector can display a maximum computer resolution of 800x600 and this is in 24bit colour. Although this is still acceptable, the resolution is perhaps a little low by today’s standards.
For those who are unsure of what an LCD projector does, here’s a brief explanation of what we use it for. The LCD projector is designed to be used with a laptop or desktop computer and is best used to display images onto a white screen. If you are familiar with overhead projectors, (like the ones most of us...
