This head unit is fantastic for anyones car stereo, will play classical happily or thump out R&B

I Got mine for £124.99 and it is well worth the money (same sort of thing in halfords is about £260)

It had an SD/MMC card reader which it will play your mp3s from (Not WMA or AAc or any protected files) and a usb port to plug your usb flash drive / mp3 player into, It even plays songs from an ipod through the usb connector, no use for another adapter !

The stereo kicks out 60w through the amp and can play mp3s with ID3 Tag (shows artist, song...ect)

It will play any copied cds as well as original ones. Has a colourful front panel display. It also has an input for mobie phone car kit and automatically mutes the stereo when the phone is in use

It has an RDS tuner which displays the radio station name on the screen instead of just the frequency number and you can mess around with treble / bass and the usual stuff

The front panel flips down to reveal the CD slot, which is smooth and looks fantastic, the menus are easy to navigate through and the whole system isnt a mission to use

You cant beat this for this price. especially for the usb function which supports ipod, so saving you £50 or so for another adapter, the functions this provides is outstanding for the price, definately recommended !

Jargon Buster:

-SD / MMC are types of memory card, also used in digital cameras, mp3 players, personal organisers..ect..different types of memory card serve different purposes and vary greatly in size

-MP3 WMA AAC are types of music file. When you import a cd into your computer library or download music from the internet it will usually come in one of 3 types of file (mp3, aac or WMA) MP3 is the most common and is played in any normal MP3 player, it is the universal music type. WMA is played in most mp3 players (except the ipod) and is Microsofts own version of MP3. AAC is Apples own version of the MP3 file and it can only be played by the ipod or in itunes, AAC files are downloaded from the itunes music store

-ID3 tag. This is a 'tag' which is attached to mp3, aac or wma files. this tag hold information on the artist, title, album and other information about the song

-RDS tuner. This shows you the name of the radio station you are listening to

Sorry to only rate helpful but I was a little lost with the technical facts. If you were to expand on them in a manner that allows unknowledgeable people like me to understand it all, I would raise the rating. Keep writing @:-)
