These are awesome subs, they're very good at performing at high levels and can take a lot of abuse.
I quickly found out that my amps were not even making these subs break a sweat at the highest volumes, so i had to invest in a huge class 'd' monoblock rated at 2000w rms @ 1ohm!
It must be pointed out, that these subs are dual 6 ohm impedence which means as they are wired parallel inside they show a total of 1ohm to the amp. so make sure you buy a amp that is 1 ohm stable and that can push out around 15-1700w rms.
The size of the factory box is large and will be awkward for some cars, please ensure you measure your boot not only for length but also for height, sometimes it may even require you to stick them in your car via the rear seat (if they fold down).
This is the first time i've purchase In Phase equipment and i would rate it up there with JBL, Alpine and the likes of Diamond Audio. For the price of what you're paying you will no way get the bass with other brands.
If you're a bass head, buy these subs. If you have to get a custom box built for them (£150) to make the most of them.
