This is a lovely book I have had since 2008 and the author is Darren W Ritson who is a ghost hunter who lives in Tyneside with his wife and little girl. The author first became interested in the paranormal because of a similar experience to me when he met a poltergeist when he was a young boy in France and this made him want to become a professional ghost hunter.

This is a lovely book with a lot of information and it will take you through the whole of Britain to discover different places which are said to be most haunted, it has some terrifying examples to share and these send shivers down my back.

The author speaks first hand to witnesses and some of their accounts are very eerie and will make you think about your beliefs I am sure they will. The author goes all over the place such as the Lake District, York, Scotland, Derby and the Cotswolds. He explores locations which people have said to have experiences strange events and looks at these venues himself to see if he can experience anything personally.

This is a lovely book to give to anyone who is interested in the subject of the paranormal and it is a good book to keep referring back to and if you are wanting to visit a haunted location for yourself as I have done then it is wise to look up the place in this handy book beforehand. I have read this book many times and have loaned it to friends who have said they thought it was good aswell and I shall treasure it. It cost £6 and is in hardback and is good value for money.

I recommend this book to you.
