Indesit D63

Although I've found this dishwasher easy to use and it generally gets things very clean - unless it's stuff that has really dried on, I have concerns over its reliability.
My D63 stopped working last night. The engineer says that the main motor has gone and it will cost £120 to replace. I only bought it 1.5 yrs ago and I don't think this is good enough. I haven't even used it that heavily - 3 x a week at most!

Perhaps you get what you pay for, but my only consolation it seems is that the engineer says that he often gets called out to fix machines that are just out of warranty. Apparently Bosch are now offering a 2 yr warranty - but their machines start from £270. Looks like the manufacturers are reducing quality - either to bring down costs, to make money from spares or to build in obsolesence so you buy another.
