This dishwasher knows what you are thinking..……….The technology behind this invention is just simply amazing…..
Now what do I mean that this dishwasher knows what I am thinking..ok maybe that’s not true..its when it hears me talking, for example days before Christmas it heard me discussing what I still needed to buy before our guests arrived……that same day the dishwasher packed up. It creates this awful familiar burning smell. We go through the ordeal of booking a tech and it’s always 50/50 on whether the dishwasher has gone to heaven or if we can have yet another makeshift repair.
I have had the same engineer to my house four times I have had the machine replaced and this is all within 5 months. It has never washed properly. The little gizmo that catches any debris is always popping within in a wash, and causing no end of problems. The motor has burnt out. The thermostat has boiled the water and scorched everything within the dishwasher.
When I bought the machine, it became essential as my kitchen was in the middle of being built. When I say built I had no walls, floor, sink the little essentials that make a kitchen. So I could either wash up in the bathroom or in the dishwasher Every time the machine packed up it took between 3-7 days to get a tech. On the occasion that we needed a replacement they suggested that the paperwork would take a further 7 days!

The machine has worked for a month, yet I have to rinse the glasses over on occasions. This machine even though looks fuss free with few dials, cost under £200.00 is not worth the aggravation and the half-day and all day appointments that are offered.

I bought an Indesit DG 6100 W in Jan 2000 as our previous 10 year old Indesit dishwasher finally gave up the ghost, it had been very reliable and assumed that Indesit would have used their experience to produce another reliable model........I thought wrong.
It didn't wash as thoroughly as the old model, it took longer to run the full cycle and was far noisier than the older one was the day before it died.
the design and appearance was pleasing ... ...much modification.
It developed fillng problems first, stopping to fill when there was barely enough water in it. Not filling at all and finally after a mammoth meal with friends it filled emptied filled again and then the motor blew in in November 2000 barely 10 months use about three times a week.
The supplier agreed that it wasn't worth repairing took into account that it had not performed the task it was designed to do and has agreed to replace ...

I have owned and worn out several indesit machines over the years. This make has been inmoroving over the years and I have found it to be affordable and reliable with all the features of the so called better machines.
The 6kg load capacity is fairly reasonable and will take a sleeping bag or a quilt that's not too bulky. It cheeses me off when you own a machine but have to go to the laundrette because things won't fit!
In this day and age energy efficiency is important. Anything that saves energy and money is good news.
This machine has all the standard features you would expect. It's a work horse, it is reasonably easy to operate and the spin speed is ideal. It's spins well enough to get all the water out and not annoy your neighbours.
It's ideal if you are like me and just want a good relable machine that does the job. ...

When the old family washing machine finally packed up after a good 9 year run (R.I.P) it was time to time to turn our attention towards getting a new machine to live up to the old one's speeds, reliability and general performance. It was quite a few months ago now that we were flicking through an old Argos catalogue looking for a new machine.
The criteria that had to be met were:
1) High speeds for those stubborn stains
2) A good energy rating, so I feel like i'm doing my bit.
3) A good price
We finally decided on the Indesit SIXL 145S because it pretty much met all the above criteria though we did have to get over the opaque door which although seeming very small it was a weird notion not to be able to see the washing at all until the cycle finished. The indesit Moon Collection of washing machines are great.
I purchased my machine nearly a year ago after my previous two machines had problems. I was very nervous in purchasing another machine as I had so many faults with my last two machines resulting in my kitchen being flooded twice!
When the Moon arrived it was like a spaceship from heaven! They are a great design and very modern and come in lots of different colours.
I think they are easy to use and come with a quick guide leaflet which is great to keep and refer to as it covers all types of washes delicates, whites, colour and wool cycles and confirms the quick buttons on the machine to be able to wash on these cycles.
They also have easy to remove compartments on the door which you put your powder and fabric conditioner in, this allows you to clean the machine ...
