Before you rush out and buy you should note that if you overfill the wash or put in excessive soap etc you may return to discover your floor covered with soapy water because the washer has a release mechanism to stop it from breaking down supposedly but this doesn't apply to you or me because we're 'good' and would never do that.
If anything does go wrong though the machine comes with a warrantee.

I have owned and worn out several indesit machines over the years. This make has been inmoroving over the years and I have found it to be affordable and reliable with all the features of the so called better machines.
The 6kg load capacity is fairly reasonable and will take a sleeping bag or a quilt that's not too bulky. It cheeses me off when you own a machine but have to go to the laundrette because things won't fit!
In this day and age energy efficiency is important. Anything that saves energy and money is good news.
This machine has all the standard features you would expect. It's a work horse, it is reasonably easy to operate and the spin speed is ideal. It's spins well enough to get all the water out and not annoy your neighbours.

The Indesit IDL 530 is very similar to a lot of products available on the dishwasher market in UK, Indesit are a partner company of Hotpoint, so i find the machines very similar indeed, and i must admit, i am very pleased with this machine, and the older version of it, the D 4000.
I actually sold these products in my youth, and i must admit i find this simplicity, price and design of the machine appealing.
Yes there are machines on the market that use less water, there are machines that have a better overall quality, and ofc, there are machines that have suberb components, but i do not have £300 or more spare, and you must remember, more expensive machanies can be more expensive to repair, so if this machine lasts 6 years on average, and a £400 machine lasts 10 years, it does work out as good value, and i have never been unhappy ...
