The Indesit IDCE845S is a condenser tumble dryer with a C energy rating and a variety of ... more
features to make your washdays a breeze. This stylish silver model has high and low heat settings for whichever better suits your clothes, and a final cool cycle to reduce creasing. It can take a maximum load of 7.5kg for up to 160 minutes of timed drying. The anti-tangle two-way tumble ensures clothes are dried more quickly, economically and with less creasing. Sensors also monitor the moisture levels inside the machine and switch off the heater once your laundry is dry.Unlike vented dryers, condenser tumble dryers don't require a special venting hose and extra room to release the steam generated by drying. Instead, all steam is cooled back into water and collected by the machine. It will need to be emptied periodically, but the huge advantage is that you can put the dryer anywhere there is space for it - even under the stairs. This product comes with a one year manufacturer's guarantee.

Advantages: Great machine! Disadvantages: If used improperly may leave you're kitchen floor covered in detergent
When the old family washing machine finally packed up after a good 9 year run (R.I.P) it was time to time to turn our attention towards getting a new machine to live up to the old one's speeds, reliability and general performance. It was quite a few months ago now that we were flicking through an old Argos catalogue looking for a new machine.
The criteria that had to be met were:
1) High speeds for those stubborn stains
2) A good energy rating, so I feel like i'm doing my bit.
3) A good price
We finally decided on the Indesit SIXL 145S because it pretty much met all the above criteria though we did have to get over the opaque door which although seeming very small it was a weird notion not to be able to see the washing at all until the cycle finished. As previously stated we bought it from the Argos catalogue which is ...
Advantages: Very good price, attractive frost free fridge freezer Disadvantages: Rust appeared quickly, broke down after 3 years
I bought the Indesit frost free freezer after moving house, the price was very reasonable at £229.00. The capacity of the fridge freezer is good it's fine for a family of three and my sister also has one and does okay with a family of five. The applicance is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. There are 3 glass shelves plus 2 salad boxes which are pretty deep. There are also 3 freezer boxes with a fast freeze plus ice cube trays built into them which I must admit I hardly used.
The fridge freezer was frost free and I've only had to defrost it myself once in three years which is good going, the fridge always worked very well and kept food nice and fresh, it was also very easy to keep clean.
The downside was rust appeared on the inner seals pretty quickly probably within the first year. The door also dents very easily ...
Advantages: Not checked so ignore ratings below Disadvantages: No hot fill inlet
I bought the Indesit WIXL 163 S and it has just arrived. I haven't even turned it on and yet i am dismayed at what i have seen already!
The plumbing for the machine has a Cold Fill facility only. Before buying i checked the ratings as, in this day and age of carbon footprints and rising fuel prices i wanted an economical machine. This machine seemed to have it all, A rated economy etc.....until i saw the filling mechanism!
I cannot understand why, after years of fitting and using machines which have both a Hot and Cold Fill function, a brand new and not expensive but not inexpensive machine either, comes with just the one Cold Fill. Surely this is not very efficient as i, like everyone else, already pay and consume electricity to heat a hot water tank on a daily basis.
So why then has this machine been constructed to fill ...
