We were looking for a stand alone tumble drier as our combined washer/drier did not dry clothes very well and as we live in a flat with no outdoors drying space we need to be able to dry our clothes without them hanging round the spare room, making it look like a launderette.

We stumbles accross the Indesit IS70CS in B&Q. We were mooching around looking for paint. At the time they were offering 20% off the ticket price.

We went home and checked out the prices on various price comparson web sites (incl this one) and we found the B&Q price very cheap. So we headed straight back to shop and bought it.

We have never had a seperate dryer all we knew is that we would need a condenser machine.

We were impressed by the large quantity of dry clothes that the machine holds (7kg) The machine also has a large door opening making it easy to get duvet covers and other large items in/out of the drum.

It runs very quietly. Although we do us the JML drying balls to help reduce drying time. They do add a bit more noise when the machine is in operation.

The energy rating is C. It is lightweight. We managed to lift it up to our first floor flat without any problems. We even managed to get it into the boot of our Smart Forfour.

There are two heat settings, a timer switch for up to 160 minutes, an on/off switch (ths last ten minutes of each drying cycle is on a cool down setting)

There is a water reserve for the condensed water, this holds up to 5kg of water and should be emptied after each drying session. There is a fluff filter at the bottom of door opening which requires "de-fluffed" after each use.

This dryer is very very easy to use. It drys effectively and is good value for money/
