    Advantages Advantages Good price and performance,good choice of programmes.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Noisy and indicator needs to be made clearer on the programme dial

    We have had this excellent washing machine for just over 6months and I am very pleased with it When we lived on our sailing boat we had a very large bucket with a tap at the bottom as a washing machine!The clothes were left overnight and the gently rocking (or not so gentle )of the boat did the hard work. Then we moved ashore and in the flat was a strange Aspes washing machine which was terrible, it took longer and longer to do a wash and at last I wouldn´t leave the house while it was on then, one happy day there was a flash and a bang and it was truly broken!     I have to say we had no complaints at all with this machine up until the point when it broke down. Unfortunately this happened after only 10 months so its' short lifetime outweighs the benefits of its' performance. It is noisy and it is basic but thatnever bothered me. I felt that you get what you pay for and it was the lower end of the price range but I would still expect it to last a bit longer. On our model the plastic parts inside the drum snapped off. I had to pay over £50 to buy the replacement parts from the Indesit website but two weeks later one of the new ones had also snapped. These ... more
