I moved into my flat 5 years ago where i had a built in washing machine which was truly horrific despite being brand new the drum was dented and made the most horrific noise which i could live with but being on the 2nd floor my neighbours really couldnt.
I decided it was really time to upgrade and due to lack of space and already having a superb tumble dryer i decided it was time to invest in an integrated washer dryer despite everyone trying to convince me otherwise based on the fact that if one part fails they both fail.
I shopped around for truly ages and decided upon the indesit12x as my faithful tumble dryer was the same make. I truly can not personally fault indesit they have never failed me yet!!!
The indesit WD12 is definately by far in my opinion a market leader with no vent required and no condenser this machine ...

Advantages: Room Saving Disadvantages: Drying takes longer and clothes more creased
Having minimal room and many children, I felt I needed a dryer. After seeing this gift arrive at the door I tested it out. It was easy to set up. Undo a few screws and plug in to water and electric. However, the clothes came out really damp so I found myself having to do extra spins. Not only this it took much longer to dry the clothes as it is using a different method to dry the clothes. The clothes also came out much more creased. A few other people have said this to me about washer/dryers. However, if you have no space and live somewhere so wet you can't hang out your clothes, oh and not to mention can afford the electricity bill, then these are a great invention! In my opinion it's a buy if you really need to. Also, in my opinion Indesit although cheaper than other brands, they are good basic machines. ...
After 18 months my WD12X Indesit washing machine gave up the ghost, a repairman came, took one look at it, and said, it's an Indesit, they're always going wrong, it's not worth repairing. Searching on the web rapidly confirmed that indeed Indesit washing machines are always going wrong. To add insult to injury, my Indesit cooker (also 18 months old) went wrong the same week, which cost £60 to repair, and my Indesit diswasher is giving me cause for concern too. Indesit offered the usual fob off excuses you would expect, and in short showed no concern for the fact their machines break down so shortly after the guarantee expires. My advice, avoid Indesit like the bubonic plague, their machines are a waste of money. ...
