This washing machine is excellent value. It is very quiet and very efficient at cleaning even on a full and very muddy load. I was expecting to have to do and extra rinse but it just wasn't necessary. The actually efficiency rating of the washing machine is A+, the best you can get and has a spin efficiency rating of B, not perfect but still incredibly good. It was easy to set up and the instructions are also easy follow. By following the manual I was able to attach the hoses to the correct places and to a successful test. There is a wide variety of programs to use ranging from 30 minute quick washes to longer intensive cleaning. You can also change the number of spin rotations (up to 1200rpm) and temperature settings for more delicate clothing (30 degrees up to 90). The short cycles wash your clothes really well, in fact, just as well as a longer wash so that way you can save on some electricity. The shortest cycle lasts for 30 minutes which can be thought of as just a freshen up but the most useful wash is an hour long and your clothes will come out nice and clean. The delicate programs worked really well, I have some clothes that need hand washing but on the delicate cycle they came out really clean and kept their shape. As I mentioned before the intensive washes are great for really stained clothes, I didn't even add any additional detergent or vanish. The drawer was a bit difficult to take out the first time - I spilled some conditioner so it needed cleaning. Once I had managed to wiggle the little feet over the ridge I had no problem putting it back in and taking it out when I had to. The drum can take up to 6kg as stated in the manual. I have gone a little over the weight when I've had heavy bedding to wash and it coped fine. I think as long as you don't have to force the door shut you should be alright - just don't overload with heavy items like trainers. Another great feature is that it only runs on cold water - it heats it up as it goes - so you don't have to worry about running out of hot water. The actual design is very nice as it comes with a door that conceals it. The dimensions are 82.0x59.5x55.0(H/W/D)cm but just be very careful to measure the space that you want it to go into. I had to shave off a bit of wood to get mine into the space as I didn't measure properly. The door is very useful as it prevents the kids from playing with the settings and it also keeps everything neat and tidy. Price can vary depending on where you get it from. I got mine for £200 through a catalogue - I thought it was a bargain! I think the average price is around £240 for most retailers like comet and currys. Overall I am very happy with my Indesit machine and would highly recommend it.
