Bought in may 07 now door has fell off!! TWICE so far.
Do not recommend this FAMILY fridge at all, as the bottom of door is held on by the tiniest screw - which every time you open door it gets loose and eventually.... off comes the door. Last time it happened my 10 year old opened it, luckily it did not hurt him. Still trying to get a replacement as i have totally lost confidence in this product.
Size is great though as it has plenty of storage with the glass shelves and door storage. It's very easy to clean as the shelves come out.
Repair man told us that this is a common fault with the indesit models. A big fridge over 5 foot tall should be held on with more than one screw. ...

When the old family washing machine finally packed up after a good 9 year run (R.I.P) it was time to time to turn our attention towards getting a new machine to live up to the old one's speeds, reliability and general performance. It was quite a few months ago now that we were flicking through an old Argos catalogue looking for a new machine.
The criteria that had to be met were:
1) High speeds for those stubborn stains
2) A good energy rating, so I feel like i'm doing my bit.
3) A good price

I bought the Indesit frost free freezer after moving house, the price was very reasonable at £229.00. The capacity of the fridge freezer is good it's fine for a family of three and my sister also has one and does okay with a family of five. The applicance is very quiet and aesthetically pleasing. There are 3 glass shelves plus 2 salad boxes which are pretty deep. There are also 3 freezer boxes with a fast freeze plus ice cube trays built into them which I must admit I hardly used.
The fridge freezer was frost free and I've only had to defrost it myself once in three years which is good going, the fridge always worked very well and kept food nice and fresh, it was also very easy to keep clean.
The downside was rust appeared on the inner seals pretty quickly probably within the first year. The door also dents very easily ...
