...novice, the higher the spin speed, the less water is left inside the fibres after a wash, meaning it is quicker at drying!! You can also adjust the spin speed down to 600 for delicates or even choose to let your clothes rest in the rincing water at the end of the wash, for anti-crease results on drying. You need to know your machines name to find it on the site though and it is by no means obvious when you look at the machine. The name WD12 is on the front of the manual though.
