I moved into my flat 5 years ago where i had a built in washing machine which was truly horrific despite being brand new the drum was dented and made the most horrific noise which i could live with but being on the 2nd floor my neighbours really couldnt.
I decided it was really time to upgrade and due to lack of space and already having a superb tumble dryer i decided it was time to invest in an integrated washer dryer despite everyone trying to convince me otherwise based on the fact that if one part fails they both fail.
I shopped around for truly ages and decided upon the indesit 12x as my faithful tumble dryer was the same make. I truly can not personally fault indesit they have never failed me yet!!!
The indesit WD12 is definately by far in my opinion a market leader with no vent required and no condenser this machine makes full use of the space required. Having a galley
kitchen with the plumbing in the centre i was truly grateful to find a machine that didnt require a dreaded vent to be run the length and breath of my kitchen. This machine is truly easy to install and when running makes hardly any sound at all in fact most times i have to check that i have actually turned it on!
With so many features available this machine really does the full works and even comes with cool features such as special shoes wash, daily wash, iron dry, hang dry, cupboard dry, delicate wash, colour fast wash, hot wash, cold wash the list is endless.
The system itself works through the use of steam to dry your clothes and this steam is recycled throughout the whole drying process. The bonus of this system is that once the cycle has finished the steam remains trapped within the system so you get no nasty drying creases if you go out and the cycle finishes as the system keeps your clothes warm until the door is opened. Upon opening the steam purely exits through the door and u hardly even notice it. Some machines are known to let the steam out in such force it feels like you have had an instant facelift however this is not so with this machine.
The machine itself holds a pretty impressive amount of clothes for a washer dryer averaging 4.5kg wash and dry with an excelltn 1200 spin facility. Along with these qualities the system is an energy rating B making it efficient to run on a drying cycle and washing cycle. I have had many seperate machines in the past which have cost a fortune to wash or dry and it is refreshing to see my electric bull decrease despite the amount of laundry within the home recently increasing.
With all the incredible features put into this machine the best is yet to come.... the price! I brought mine over a year ago for a superb £419.00 which i felt was superb value for money when i compared it to other brand names where the features were more limited.

If your looking for a reliable, cost effective, quiet and durable machine which is extremely easy to use then i recommend the indesitWD12 everytime. Im my opinion this machine really is a bargain and does everything it says on the tin!!!! I use mine atleast twice a day and the performance has no altered since the day i brought it. Usually within six months i have discovered the noiseless machines in the past have begun to sound like a tank however not this time round- It is still as quiet, efficient and durable as the day i purchased it. A+++++++++
