(I hope I'm not going to jinx my washing machine by using that title! haha)

Having recently moved into our first home my partner and myself had to shop around for the cheapest and best value for money appliances that we could afford. We found this washing machine in Argos for the bargin of £199.99. I'd never actually heard of the make before but my partner had and so we decided to go for it. (plus it looked pretty and shiny hehe)

But anyways, onwards and upwards, the instruction manual was fairly easy to use, mostly pictures to show you how to set it up which I find is better than having a thick booklet which is actually two thirds different languages and you still don't end up having a clue what to do! It arrived well packaged, in fact so well packed that it took a while to get out of the box! But anyways, onwards and upwards, the instruction manual was fairly easy to use, mostly pictures to show you how to set it up which I find is better than having a thick booklet which is actually two thirds different languages and you still don't end up having a clue what to do! I left my partner to install the thing because I'm no good with that stuff, but it really didn't take long before it was ready and raring to go with the first load.

The buttons on the front of the machine are easy to understand without the use of the manual. There are two dials, one for temperature and one for setting; there is also writing on the front indicating what each program is for (coloured cottons, silks etc). Then there are two buttons, one to turn the power on and the other to start the wash. Very easy.

We've found that the machine is very reliable for it's cheap price. We live in a student house and so it's (contrary to popular belief) on a number of times in a week and is still going strong; thankfully! The only downside I think I would say about this product is the lack of instructions for taking the drawer out to clean it, because sometimes the powder gets clogged and leaves a bit of a mushy pulp mess. However this is abit of an oversight.

I would recommend this product to any first time buyer who just wants something cheap and reliable, because it's certainly been like that for us! It's also very energy efficient being a class A, which we admire. Look around for price though, because it's the kind of item that goes on sale alot.
