I bought this machine as my previous one was a Hotpoint and I had nothing but problems with it, having it fixed a total of 7 times in the first month decided to buy the new Indesit upon recommendation. Within a couple of weeks things started going wrong with the machine, in total we had the engineer out 9 times in the first 3 months most of which were for different faults, we were on first name terms! I found out that Hotpoint had taken over from Indesit much to my disgust before my machine was made which may explain the problems! After ringing and writing and threatening customer services at Indesit/Hotpoint a total of 19 times I finally recieved a replacement machine which has worked ok for the first week fingers crossed! Unfortunately having no washing machine for the weeks inbetween waiting for parts/engineers I had a total of 6 ...

When the old family washing machine finally packed up after a good 9 year run (R.I.P) it was time to time to turn our attention towards getting a new machine to live up to the old one's speeds, reliability and general performance. It was quite a few months ago now that we were flicking through an old Argos catalogue looking for a new machine.
The criteria that had to be met were:
1) High speeds for those stubborn stains
2) A good energy rating, so I feel like i'm doing my bit.
