The Headlines on Monday Morning in all Leading Newspapers: India's dismal performance shows it all.... Well India no doubt played well in Nairobi in the ICC knockout trophy.But they went down to NewZealand in the finals.We cant say that India is still a side having players involved in match fixing.The reason is that India didnt perform well on that particular day.In the same way when they were in Sharjah playing against Srilanka and Zimbabwe,we cant say that they played badly,they did perform but not to their mark,and so we went down in the final to Srilanka by a very big margin and this has constituted the lowest ever Indian total.Well some of our friends say that India presently undergoing problems like match fixing is still under the pressure of this "Fixing" stuff.But the present team has a lot of new players like Zahir Khan,Yuvraj and Dahiya.It is too early to say that India is still underperforming.India is doing well and with thier inclusion in our side you can see that we are a much better fielding side and yes we do lack an all rounder but it will take some time for these youngsters to come upto the international level.Yuvraj did perform against Australia but what happened to him in Sharjah. Well it is the lack of experience and with regard to Sachins and Sauravs performance we cant say that the match was fixed but you see Sachin has not been in the best of form and so he is undergoing a bad patch and it will take another series or two for him to play the way he does.We made only 54 in the final,well it was not our day and so we lost and we cant jump to conclusions that Indian cricket is still the way it was.
No it is not,there is new blood in the team and it will take time for them to start playing attacking and positive cricket.
