Office 2007 For Dummies - A Lifesaver!
Advantages: Very Well Written, Easy To Follow and Understand Disadvantages: None!
...line of books and manuals. Office 2007 Is a great addition to the "For Dummies" books, with the release of Office 2007 from Microsoft many people, including myself, were mystified and dumbfounded as well as confused because of the many changes that they made to the product and the lack of documentation and support for the product. This book changes everything, it explains how to do anything you would ever need to do in Office 2007 from Word to Excel ... ...came time to upgrade to Office 2007 from Office XP and everything was different and was an entirely new world to me and my colleagues. We bought this book and quickly learned how to do everything wee knew how to do in the previous version of Office. The author truly understands and knows what he is talking about. He is very knowledgeable in the topic and communicates instruction and support very well. ...

ORACLE overview
Advantages: Explains all the aspects of Oracle Disadvantages: Far too vague
Oracle – A Beginners Guide – attempts to explain all the areas of Oracle under one cover, and doesn’t do a very good job about it. While it gives a fairly decent background into Oracle, and has separate chapters on Installation, SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, DBA and Tuning, each chapter is very vague and not dealt with in any great depth. Therefore, this book is not suitable as a reference tool or to look up correct syntax. I also felt that the presentation ...

The perfect companion to Final Fantasy X
Advantages: Contains everything you could possibly want to know in the Final Fantasy X universe. Disadvantages: Cannot think of any.
...in-depth guide to all things Final Fantasy X. A very well presented, strongly bound guide that will be your companion throughout the game. At a first glance it gives detailed background information about the main characters (not to mention beautiful artwork too!), the controls for the game and detailed information about the sphere grid (your leveling up system in the game), the types of skills and magics you can learn during your journey (and what ... ...overdrive attacks. Overall, Final Fantasy X is a very enjoyable game even without finding out all it's secrets. However if you are a completionist, you'll want the whole story and I highly recommend this guide to get you through it. Looking up specific information could not be easier thanks to each page being colour coded depending on what section you are in. All the information is presented neatly, can be understood very well and each page is a ...

Great Beginners Guide
Advantages: Brilliant for beginners Disadvantages: Quickly out grown.
Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes is a great beginners training book.
It covers the very basic's of SQL that someone just starting out would need to know. It also does an excellent job of using analogies to communicate why syntax and statement layout is important.
It mainly teachs the reader Microsoft SQL, but also cover's common tasks in MySQL and Oracle.
The book starts out by explaining how and why we use SQL.
Then moves on to some of ... ...and INSERT statements.
It's a fast read, and builds upon the subjects already covered in the book.
The book moves on to more advanced topic's such as JOIN's and SOUNDEX statements.
The book over all is a brilliant guide to the basics of the SQL language, which will quickly be out grown as you develop your skills. I purchased the book just before I was about start a new job where I knew I was to be using the SQL langauge, I had finished it within ...
