Advantages: Ok, cheap Disadvantages: not for extreme gamers
It's an excellent video card that has Shader Model 3.0, Scalable Link Interface (SLI), PureVideo andHigh Dynamic Range (HDR). HDR is the rendering of 3D computer graphics scenes by using lighting calculations done in a high dynamic range. Specifically it refers to the new lighting model used to illuminate 3D worlds. It's a low budget card and it will work perfectly on Vista and many games. Inno3DGeForce 7300 GT is one of the faster cards of its class so this mild setback should not deter anyone from getting it. It's already faster than a GeForce 7600 GS so one shouldn't be too greedy. If you're looking for a cheap and worthwhile upgrade, and you already have the motherboard, you should consider buying the 7300GT. Just make sure your getting the GDDR3 256MB version. ...
Advantages: Still a good performer and cheap too! Disadvantages: Smoewhat pushed with modern games, overheating problems
Firstly, i bought my card from dabs.com, under its own value brand name, but research has revealed that it is just a re-branded Inno3D card so please forgive me for reviewing it here :)
I purchased this card about 2 years ago, when it was still a relativley state of the art GPU, and i have no intention of replacing it, until a finally fork out for a new PC.
This card (on my system) will still run most games on high to max settings, with the exception of Oblivion. To be fair though, my cheap RAM may be bottlenecking my system, to the detrement of the graphics potential.
The 6800GT i feel has stood the test of time. The card is a very solid build with still decent specifications:
-----------------------
Superscalar 16-pipe GPU Architecture
0.13 Micron Process Technology
High-Speed GDDR3 Memory Interface
256-Bit Memory ...
Advantages: Fast, cheap, easy to install Disadvantages: None I can think of
been a fan of NVIDIA since they?ve been around. Many companies use there chip-sets in the own cards, including, as in this case, Inno3D.
I needed a fast chip-set with at least 256Mb but was within my budget of around £100. I read through several on-line computer review sites but was still none the wiser ? they all seemed to say similar kind of things on various graphic cards. I was also getting a bit confused on the various techno-babble that goes over-board regarding graphic cards; Take a look at clock speeds for example; there?s Core Clock Speed, RAMDAC Clock Speed, Video Clock Speed, and Memory Clock Speed. Then there are the various chip-set features and benchmark tests that the reviews mention. What does ?super sampling transparency anti-aliasing? and ?anisotropic filtering? supposed to mean? I just want a fast graphics card to play ...
