* A small slice of history about Innocent Smoothies *
Innocent has been around since 1998. They started off at a music festival. Their smoothies were instant success with festival goers that they even quit their day jobs the next day to set up a company. They called it Innocent as their drinks are "completely pure, fresh ... ...is over. I emailed Innocent and they told me that it's been a good seller and will be back next year. So try it while you can or you will have to wait until next year.

I love 'em. They are 100% natural and healthy. There's loads of different flavours to try. The only downside is the cost. There are a bit on the expensive side but if you like natural products and helping the environment too or just want to get your five a day ...

...variety I always go for Innocent Smoothies.
I'm sure you must have seen them as they are sold pretty much everywhere, supermarkets and lunch time fast food restaurants such as EAT etc. For those of you not in the know, Innocent Drinks are a UK based company who specialize in producing fruit smoothies and also flavoured waters but I am just going to concentrate on the fruit smoothies.
I think the reason they called their company Innocent is the ... ...day!
The story of Innocent Smoothies is a really interesting one. It was founded by three Cambridge graduates in the late 1990's. Apparently according to an article I read about them, they first sold their drinks at a music festival in London. They asked people to essentially vote on their product. If they liked it they were asked to put their empty bottle in a bin marked "yes", if they didn't then there was a bin marked "no". At the end of the ...

...in this field are the Innocent Pure Fruit Smoothies . I recently purchased a one litre carton in the Strawberries and Bananas flavour and was not disappointed .

...reckon that the people at Innocent have probably realised that this is a large untapped market which could net them a fortune if they play their cards right, and I think that this is exactly what they have done. Their advertising is clever, aimed at showing you how good Innocent actually is for you - which is very - and how easily this goodness can be yours. Put simply, half a carton is almost your 5-portions-a-day, with the effort expenditure of ... ...be pleased to note that Innocent are well on their way to becoming 100% self sustainable as a company, meaning that once achieved, they won't be using any finite resources in their packaging - excellent news.
I must also mention the spectacular hangover-annihilating properties that are an extremely welcome side-effect of these smoothies. I suppose rehydrating your body while simultaneously giving it a huge energy and vitamin boost is the best thing ...

...tried many of them, but Innocent Smoothies definitely are a cut above the rest. The flavours are both strong and taste like they are supposed to, when other drinks only kind of emulate. A positive recommendation from me with no reservations whatsoever.
There is however one little word of warning you may want to take heed of, since this product is made from pure fruit there are certain elements contained in each bottle that when exposed to heat cause ... ...as I found out to my dismay. I left two Smoothies accidentally on top of a work surface overnight. In the morning the fermentation had caused the bottle to explode firing the top half way across the kitchen.
