Advantages: easy to use, YEAR END FORMS A DODDLE

I use TAS Payroll on a daily basis in my job as an Accountant. I find it easy to setup and to use, and it makes the End Of Year paperwork a complete doddle. I am writing this review for people who know what I am talking about, so will not be explaining the nature of the forms etc! TAS PAYROLL SAY THERE ARE 6 STEPS TO SETTING IT UP ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1. Install software and follow tutorial 2. Setup company details 3. Setup employee details 4. Setup period to run payroll, enter any adjustments 5. Print payslips and reports 6. Post payroll and update totals. They are right about this. The software comes in a box with CD and booklet. Payroll Know How

Advantages: Cheap and very easy to use
Disadvantages: Can seem daunting

when it comes to wages. You might have trouble recalling your 5 times table but you know whether you've been underpaid by 50 pence ! Bearing this in the mind the thought that - heaven forbid - you could make a mistake on the payroll is enough to push anyone towards a computerised package. I have used other Sage products and decided to try their Instant Payroll , not least because their product was £100 compared to some far more expensive versions. I found the whole installation procedure extremely easy from inserting the C.D. (they will supply on floppy if required) to actually setting up the employee details. There is a step by step guide to putting on both new and existing personnel as well as information on what to do with those P45 figures. A complete package

Advantages: Easy to learn
Disadvantages: Cost

I bought this package for my university course works. I had a trial version which came with laptop but that expired. This product is a complete software package that helps save time and stay planned. The new menus Visual controls help alot. You don?t even need to look through the menus for a certain function. It is all there. This package includes word processing, e-mail, and the Web, and produce useful promotion campaign. I was able to create my university word processing assignments, spreadsheets, and presentations, and other tasks like building databases easily. It made this very easy and I got settled with this product very quickly. It has built in visual tools and menus that helped me learn and get used to it quickly.
