Advantages Easy to use, loads of styles from one styler

I was bought this as a recent present and they are incredible. Instead if needing straightners and a curing iron i can use the Instyler. It has a rotating cylinder which polishes my hair and stops it from getting too hot. My hair looks shinier and I am sure it is healthier. The Instyler also has two rows of bristles to seperate the hair and prevent knots. It gives my hair volume and also keeps it smooth and shiny. Advantages leaves hair soft and smooth, very fast to straighten
Disadvantages pricey, hard to control at first but youll get used to it

So I've seen the commercial and demonstrations for this many times on TV and instantly wanted it. I was a bit sceptical since it was over $100! But I decided to try it out. I have very curly thick hair so the only way it really looks good is when it's straightened. I've used many different flat irons..they all work but took me about 2 hours between blowdrying and getting my hair completely straight. The first time I used the instyler I fell in love! My hair came out perfect! Very soft and straight and not at all frizzy! And the best part, it only took me 30 MINUTES!!!!! So to everyone that is ... more

Disadvantages hard to maneuver if doing it yourself, takes a lot of time, hair gets caught around the barrel

After seeing many commercials for this new item, I bought it thinking it would be a wonderful and easy to use product. I have very curly, frizzy hair and using this product on it was a complete nightmare. First off, it gets pretty heavy to hold after a while, and you have to hold it for a long time in order to get any results. It is also akward to maneuver by yourself so you almost have to get someone else to do it for you. Since my hair is very thick I had to do many many tiny strands one at a time to get any results because using too thick of a piece of hair will not work at all. Also, the ... more

Okay so to start off with my mom bought me this after straightening my hair for the first time and got it since I liked how my hair looked straight. My mom saw the commercial on t.v and got it for me. I would have to say at first I didn't believe that it would be a good investment since the fact that I'm not too fond of things bought from the tv. Advantages Straightens ,Curls ,adds volume and shine.
Disadvantages Hair can get caught in edge rotating piece,Not many choices for temperature only low,medium & high

Overall the instyler is a great product. It works well for me because I have thick wavy hair and it takes forever to straighten it with a regular straightener’s. If you have curly wavy,straight or thin hair you need to get this product. You can even add volume and if you don’t want to tease your hair and damage it this is product is for you. Trust me! Even though the price is higher it is well worth your money.If I had to choose between this and a high end rusk staightner and curler I would definetly get the instyler it does so many applications in one product.
