Insurance Choice Breakdown Cover

TalkCover Mobile Phone Insurance

Advantages: Comprehensive cover, very low cost, good service
Disadvantages: None so far.

Having quickly discounted the insurance offered by my network provider as over priced, I did what I do with all my insurance policies and looked online. There are many small websites offering mobile phone insurance, but lots look like you wouldn't trust them with anything, let alone insurance. Out of my final shortlist of Talkcover, CUSC (as they had been around for many years, but still have a poor website and the poor Ciao review put me off), and CPP PhoneSafe (as I have heard of them in the financial press, they are large and growing but expensive), Talkcover appeared to offer the best balance of complete cover (loss, theft, accidental damage, fraudulent calls, brand new replacement phones) with the best price by far. My Last Choice

Advantages: Fantastic resort and value for money
Disadvantages: Customer service, Weddings Department

She was incredibly professional and built a great rapport with us making sure we were happy with every little detail regarding the holiday and wedding. We were given two days to pick for the wedding day and were told this would be confirmed to us when we met our wedding planner, looking back this was pointless as we didn't really care what day we would get married and we didn't get married on one of the days we chose anyway! Choice catalogue

Advantages: good stock availability on clothing, easy returns, free delivery
Disadvantages: customer service not great, don't communicate well

Choice I have held an account with Choice for about four years now and have found them pretty good up until a recent bad experience. This catalogue is part of the littlewoods group and includes kays, great universal and additions. As with most catalogues they give you a credit limit and send a monthly statement requesting a minimum payment. You can pay by direct debit, credit/debit card, at the post office or bank counter by cheque or by online/tele-banking. They often have three and six months interest free promotions on and also frequent buy now pay later offers running throughout the year. For me personally I have mainly used Choice for clothing, footware and small houshold items. They sell a wide rang of clothing, furniture, electricals, appliances, toys and gifts.
