Advantages: Slim, compact, very trendy outlook and fast performance. Disadvantages: None really.
-sheet I always use this 1GBflashdrive.It has a very good and fast data transfer rate. It?s safe, easier to carry and hassle free. I attached this flashdrive to my keys for extra safety. I have lost four to five flashdrive before. As it is very small it is very difficult to realize when I drop/lose it somewhere. So I think it?s better to be attached with my key chain.
Sometimes, my PC does not detect this flashdrive. But if I restart my computer then it detects the flashDrive easily. Other than that, I did not face any difficulties or problems using this USBflashdrive. I am really happy with the performance of it.
~Compatibility~
? It works fine with any available USB connection s (both 1.1 and 2.0). But it performs better and faster in USB2.0 connection as it has better transfer rate 480Mbit/Sec.
? It is compatible ...
Advantages: large storage and build of quality Disadvantages: expensive for a flash drive but you get what you pay for
As a rule I try not to carry my laptop around with me, opting instead to transport files the easy way using USBflashdrives, of which I have 3 due to the size of the files I have to load and upload. My first encounter with a flashdrives came with the expensive yet disappointing Lexar and over the years I've steadily moved from one to another gradually increasing the memory size as the size of files seems to spiral out of all proportion! I paid just £65.99 for the Corsair Flash Voyager USBflashdrive from our IT supplier and with a 32GB memory I had anticipated it being my final purchase of a flashdrive for a considerable period of time.
Opting for a USBflashdrive from a company like Corsair meant that I knew I would be getting a product of quality, and the Flash Voyager oozes quality and style. Compact and durable the drive can ...
Advantages: Speed of small transfers Disadvantages: No ReadyBoost, feels cheap
Hi today I will be reviewing a Kingston DataTravler 2GBUSBFlashDrive. I bought this a few months ago after losing my other flashdrive. It cost me 9.97 from PC World but I believe you can get them cheaper in other places.
Speed
For the data that I transfer to it i.e. pictures and some small visual basic programs it transfers them extremely quick compared to some cheap flashdrives I have used in the past.
Problems
So far I have had no major problems other than in windows vista it is not capable of running ReadyBoost which a free flashdrive I had a while ago could.
Size
The overall size of the flashdrive is quiet good the USB connector slides in and out with a rather flimsy press and slide switch.
Feel
The Kingston feels rather cheap and plastic considering the price I paid for it anyway.
Over all this is not a bad ...
