Advantages: Speed of small transfers Disadvantages: No ReadyBoost, feels cheap
Hi today I will be reviewing a Kingston DataTravler 2GBUSBFlashDrive. I bought this a few months ago after losing my other flashdrive. It cost me 9.97 from PC World but I believe you can get them cheaper in other places.
Speed
For the data that I transfer to it i.e. pictures and some small visual basic programs it transfers them extremely quick compared to some cheap flashdrives I have used in the past.
Problems
So far I have had no major problems other than in windows vista it is not capable of running ReadyBoost which a free flashdrive I had a while ago could.
Size
The overall size of the flashdrive is quiet good the USB connector slides in and out with a rather flimsy press and slide switch.
Feel
The Kingston feels rather cheap and plastic considering the price I paid for it anyway.
Over all this is not a bad ...
Advantages: Small, Cheap, Easy to Use, Fast, Size - Enough for day to day work Disadvantages: Chunky
I originally picked up this USBflashdrive for only £10 not too long ago and have been reasonably happy with what I've bought as a whole.
Size (Digitally)
****************
This drive is 2GB's in size making it excellent to carry a descent amount of work around with you no matter where you are or where your going. When putting the USBflashdrive into the USB port it is extremely easy to use because this and most flashdrives are plug and play devices which allow the device to be inserted and from that moment the user can use the device almost instantly after the system automatically installs it.
Design
*********
This flashdrive can come in many other colours besides the colour blue as displayed in the Ciao picture. I also have a black one in the same size for example.
There is a cap or top which is able to be pulled away ...
Advantages: Stylish design. Available in a variety of colours. Disadvantages: Too small and easy to lose. Flimsy carrying pouch.
Sony's Microvault Tiny flashdrives have been available for some time now and like other USB pen drives they are coming down in price and are available in increasing capacities.
The pen drive itself is very easy to use. It works fine on Windows machines and Apple Macs. A small green light shows when data is being transferred. Like other pen drives they offer a highly durable way to store and transport files.
What sets these pen drives apart from the rest are their looks. The design is very stylish and futuristic and in my view these are some of the nicest looking pen drives out there. They are available in a variety of colours, depending on the capacity of the drive. They are also the smallest and thinnest pen drives I have seen - smaller in real life than in the picture. It's amazing how much information can be stored on such ...
