Advantages: Sleek And Robust! Disadvantages: Not Good For Gaming!
...I brought this laptop and was very satisfied with it. There are some positives and some negatives to the product. I will start with the disadvantages.
It is not as fast as a laptop which has an Intel Core Duo Processor as this product contains a IntelCeleron M. a Core Duo means it can do the 2 things at the same time at the same speed 1 thing would be done on the equivalent Celeron M.
I went to get this changed in mine to a Core Duo but it cannot be done in laptops unless a high price is charged so please be aware before you buy to get the one that you would like.
Also the video card is not good and on the Windows Opta Index Rating it is given 1.0 which is poor and again in this computer cannot be updated unless at a higher cost than a new laptop. Again seriously consider!
The battery life is very poor on this machine on high...

Advantages: Good speed, good memory, very portable, great price. Disadvantages: Processor could be better.
...This Acer Extensa 5220 laptop is ideal for anyone on a budget. However don't be fooled by the low price, this laptop still has power. The IntelCeleronprocessor is more than powerful enough for any home or student.
Including a good sized memory (80GB), Windows Vista Home Basic and a DVD rewriter this laptop is excellent value for money.
The 15'4 screen allows for excellent viewing for DVDs and gaming, but does not mean the laptop is heavy and could be easily portable to use all over home/school/college/university.
Overall i believe this laptop is excellent value for students who are not looking to spend alot of money, but still want a good quality laptop which will allow them to complete most tasks....

Wonderful machine, a real value for money as long as you are a homeuser/student or small scale business user who is in the process of setting up his/her own business
I know this comes with Cel processor and there has been a huge debate on how celeron can struggle with Vista, but from experience, using the machine for the last two months, I know for a fact that with the processing speed of 2.0 GHZ and an increased memory of 2 GB you are not going to face any hiccups
Its got a beautiful 15-inch screen and since most of the people still buy things with their eyes it has a design...
