Advantages: Good Value for money, attractive design Disadvantages: No DVD drive
...This computer look aesthetically very good in a sleek black colour with unique IBM black casing, and for most desktop applications will work very well while remaining stable. The CeleronDprocessor is a resonable speed giving fast loading speeds and supporting the more processor intensive applications.
The main disadvantage with this machine is that it doesn't have a DVD drive as standard, although these can now be purchased for as cheap as £10.00 if you look around on the internet (www.ebuyer.com is a good one!). As far as the high power demanding games go, the Celeronprocessors and intel boards are quite sufficient for most of your needs when combined with a reasonable graphics card.
Overall recomendation: Great computer if you are on a low budget, or looking for something to build up on and improve over time!...

Advantages: Cheap processor Disadvantages: Slow, small cache,
...I have mixed experiences with these processors, In comparison to AMD's chips, Im afraid Celeronprocessors do not compare.
My AMD K6-2/450 which worked without fault, was sold and replaced with a Celeron 533Mhz which at the time was of similar cost. Celeronprocessors were at the time rated quite highly however in comparison to AMD's 450, Graphical benchmarks, Gameplay, High Quality Video files, processor benchmarks all showed a great deal of a decrease in performance with the celeron.
The Celeron runs on a 66mhz bus speed which greatly reduces performance in comparison to processors running at 100mhz bus.
Celeronprocessors are known for thier ability to be overclocked which can greatly improve performance however this greatly dependant on which mainboard you choose.
Increasing the Memory from 64mb to 128mb made a noticable...

I had even overclocked it fro 2.53 to 3.01 ghz and worked very well
i had nce overclocked it to 3.48 ghz it worked good but after some time of game play it would suddenly get turned off , later i came to know that the reason of going off is that it was overheated . so from the i am usin it at 3.01 ghz and it wrks very well . its not bad to have a processor like this at a cheap price ....
