...My CeleronDprocessor runs very well . yhou it was lsloe games like nfs undergrd 1,2 ,mostwanted ,age of empires 3 ,fifa 2007 ,gta san andreas , total overdose , warhammer 40000 dawn of war drak crusade & halo combat evolved worked smoothly without getting hanged ---------XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXx XXXXXXXXXXXXX
I had even overclocked it fro 2.53 to 3.01 ghz and worked very well
i had nce overclocked it to 3.48 ghz it worked good but after some time of game play it would suddenly get turned off , later i came to know that the reason of going off is that it was overheated . so from the i am usin it at 3.01 ghz and it wrks very well . its not bad to have a processor like this at a cheap price ....

Advantages: Cheap. Easily overclockable....still...so is the Duron Disadvantages: Slow bus, slow cache (1st release Durons don't have any!)
...From my experience with Celerons, they are slow, cheap and nasty. Yes, they are easily overclockable, yes they cost a few quid, yes, many motherboards supports them, but have you seen the Durons for the same price?! A Celeron system running side by side with a Duron system, running the same game and same applications, same graphics cards etc show a major difference for the price. Since the Duron runs on a higher bus than the Celeron and has faster L1 and L2 cache, for the same price, you are being conned with your Celeron. Intel seem to be losing the war, even if they are trying really hard with the new Celeron II, for the price, a Duron CPU kicks a lot more ass than the Celeron....
