This is an entry level chip for notebooks, its 1 mb cache makes it faster than its predecessor and is built for running cool in notebooks. It is however designed especially for the office environment as it makes running word and excel smooth. Its a stable little chip and boasts long time life and will outlive most of the components. If you are looking for affordability and basic computing power this chip will do the job. This chip however will not handle games that require heavy graphics however and graphic programs that require huge number crunching. My experience is if you go with a chip like this then always make sure you have a lot of memory for windows xp proffessional .Vista wont run however.
