...This intel dual coreprocessor with 2.33Ghz speed (total speed of 4.6Ghz) with a 4MB Cache can handle an awful lot of demanding programs runnning at once, obviously it has its limits, but for the price its a very good processor. This processor is also compatable with 64 bit computing.
It has an LGA775 Socket which is compatable with most of the new motherboards if you are looking to upgrade or build your own pc. If you are looking to buy a processor i would highly recommend this one or several similar ones, but you need to have IT experience and know what you are doing before paying out for one of these. It comes with a 3 year limited warrenty so it is really set to last....

intel wanted to bring back the pentium brand again to the market after its huge success. the first processores of dual core came in notebooks in 2007. these processors pentium t2060, t2080 and t2130 had the 32bit pentium-m core, and was the initial poineers of coreduo. the pentium dual-core was developed at the request of notebooks/laptops companies.
intel then realeased desktop pentium dual-core. these processors support intel64 extensions, based on the 64bit allendale core.
the core brand is intels 32it dual-core cpu's the come's from pentium m brand processors, microarchitecture whih is a combination of intel p6 and core microarchitecture of the new core2 cpu's. the core brand first released the 32bit yonah core cpu...

...Intel Pentium Dual CoreE2160 / 1.8 GHzprocessor is helpful for those people who want to buy good processor but in cheapest rate. It is a stripped down low cost version of the Core2Duo. The performance of the processor at stock speed is good. As it is a dual coreprocessor, its multitasking performance is very good.

Mainly I recommend these processor for office use only. But if you want to play games with it.. then the best configuration will be
1. 1333mhz capable motherboard
2. 2GB of DDR2 800mhz RAM
3. ATI 3850 or Geforce 8800gs graphics card
4. Western digital/ Maxtor hard disk
5. case, keyboard, mouse.....etc
