Advantages Fast, Efficient, Reliable

Disadvantages Expensive

I have had this processor around a year now, and have had a brilliant experience with it. Since I've had it it hasn't lost any performance, even though I had a small problem with thermal paste. I have this version in my main 1GB, GeForce 7900GS PC, and also a laptop versions in my Advent notebook.
I've used it in a ton of games, such as Counter Strike Source, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Oblivion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, Age Of Empires III, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, The Sims 2, The Sims, Half Life 2, Half Life, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Condition Zero, Rome: Total War, Medieval II: Total War, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 and more. Overall it's been a great CPU for the games, although I've had problems when adding too many A.I opponents in games such as Counter Strike (I can add more bots with my older Pentium 4 PC), although in the real time strategy games such as Rome: Total War and Age Of Empires III, it has been flawless and smooth, even with the full amount of soldiers or units (believe me, there's nothing like reinacting that famous and violent battle from 300, or reinacting a historical happening in Age Of Empires).
In general all-purpose use, the Core 2 Duo is really very powerful aswell. It helps load and use any program extremely well, and if the rest of your PC is up to it, the possibilities are endless. I mostly use programs such as Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Macromedia Dreamweaver etc. It's really good, and I have had no problems. It copes fine with all my problems and I've yet to meet the limits of this beautiful work of hardware.
