This is a very nice CPU for its price range. i would recoment it for anyone who is in search for the right cpu. with this CPU you will be able to play all the games you wanted to play such as; Crysis Warhead, Farcry2 and Call of Duty 4. this is a core 2 duo, so it has 2 processors so you will be able to run a virus scan and play your game at the same time without any sort of lags.
This is a very nice CPU and for people who love overclocking their components, this is easily overclockable to 3.85 GHz.
For those who are not aware on what overcloking is, its when you push your PC components to their limits to squeeze some extra performance out of them for no price at all.
this CPU is at a price range of £115 from many online shops such as- www.scan.co.uk. this is a great price for those who want an all time great PC, but if all your doing is e-mailing and database work, your better off with a Pentium 4 which is cheaper.
This CPU supports Intel 775 sockets only, make sure motheroard supports 45nm processors.
