Tip: save yourself some money.
I managed to get this chip ... ...taken it further as the temps start to get a bit scary. Consider water cooling if you are going even further or a good copper based heatsink if you are keeping it at this speed.
The i7s are even better, but not where it comes to value for money. These can still run on the much cheaper DDR2 and have a better selection of motherboards that are much cheaper (lga775). ... more
