On most laptops this would inevitably reduce battery life significantly but not here, it isnt difficult to get well over 2 hours battery life if not closer to 3 hours with the settings turned down slightly.

intel wanted to bring back the pentium brand again to the market after its huge success. the first processores of dual core came in notebooks in 2007. these processors pentium t2060, t2080 and t2130 had the 32bit pentium-m core, and was the initial poineers of coreduo. the pentium dual-core was developed at the request of notebooks/laptops companies.
intel then realeased desktop pentium dual-core. these processors support intel64 extensions, based on the 64bit allendale core.

...The first thing to strike me about the AR21M was the sheer size of the thing, immediately I began to have doubts as to how portable this system would be. I was pleasantly surprised however to find that despit its size it really wasnt too heavy. Size aside how does this machine perform? Well the beast is powered by an Intelcore2duo CPU at 1.83Ghz, with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a GeForce 7600 graphics card so should be able to cope with just about anything you throw at it., and BOY DOES IT!! As an avid gamer (When I get time at least) I was Eager to try a couple of the latest titles on it and had no trouble at all playing MOTW II, Oblivion and Mark of Chaos at top resolutions with all the features on, the system did get quite warm but I invested in a notebook cooler for around £20 which the vaio sits on top of and is kept ice cold by...
