The Intelcore i7 is the new processor range from Intel. The core i7 is the fastest processor yet to be unleashed into the marked. It comes in three different models at the moment however there are plans to release another 3 more. At the moment of when this review was written there are only three types; 920 (2.66 GHz), 240 (2.93GHz) and the 940 ExtremeProcessor (3.2GHz). each of the processors have 8MB of cache which means you will be able to run your PC faster as it will use large memory to process the information. the i7 is also a quad coreCPU which means it will multi-task extremely well.
When I used this Processor on my system, it ran extremely fast and only using about 8% of CPU usage when opening programs, surfing the web, watching a DVD. It rarely goes over 50% when playing games such as Counter Strike: Source and Left 4 ...
