This processor is a fairly mid-high spec for core2 duo range it delivers some great performance for a good price.
This cpu can handle a lot of multi-tasking along with playing powerful games. Usually i can run a defragmentation and notice it hardly at all i can play games and play music with no problem it just makes desktop computing so easy.
As you may know this is an IntelCore2 Duo E6750 / 2.66ghz cpu, It has 2cores on the one chip. it runs with 64-bit architecture which then opens up a whole new world of 64-bit operating systems for tommorows technolodgy...this along with the fact it has 4mb lvl2 cache makes superfast repsonse rates to programs and files i have also noticed that their are not so many "cache misses" to which i expected so this pleases me the most :D

The Intelcore i7 is the new processor range from Intel. The core i7 is the fastest processor yet to be unleashed into the marked. It comes in three different models at the moment however there are plans to release another 3 more. At the moment of when this review was written there are only three types; 920 (2.66GHz), 240 (2.93 GHz) and the 940 Extreme Processor (3.2GHz). each of the processors have 8MB of cache which means you will be able to run your PC faster as it will use large memory to process the information. the i7 is also a quadcoreCPU which means it will multi-task extremely well.
When I used this Processor on my system, it ran extremely fast and only using about 8% of CPU usage when opening programs, surfing the web, watching a DVD. It rarely goes over 50% when playing games such as Counter Strike: Source and Left 4 ...

Core i7 is the newest QuadcoreCPU from intel, its top end and as a result expsenive yet efficient. I opted for the 920 at a semi-reasonable £240, compared to the quicker, yet more pricey 940 or Extreme edition (the Extreme tops out at nearly £1,000 - just for the CPU!?!).
With more cores and too many features to list (google it) the Core i7 is intel's finest core yet. With rave reviews and recommendations, I chose the Core i7 over my previously favoured manufacturer (AMD). As anyone who knows anything about customer loyalty will know, it takes alot to steal loyal customers and AMD have served me well over the years. However, it cannot be denied that Intel are now the market leader once again.
The boxed version comes with a simple picture diagram on how to install the CPU onto the motherboard and fit the standard heat sink also ...
